Refund policy

RETURNS + EXCHANGES.

All sales are final. Exchanges are accepted under the following circumstances:

1. The order arrives damaged.

2. You have received the wrong order in error. 

The customer must contact us within 7 days of receipt for exchange consideration. Pillows (including inserts) must be in their original unused condition (this means no pet hairs, odors, etc.) and sent back with the original packaging. Please email hello@studpillows.co first to start your exchange process and for any questions or concerns regarding your order.

This policy is in place because we individually make each pillow to order, using our supplies and resources to custom cut and make it specifically for each customer. Discontinued and custom pillows are not eligible for exchange. 

Once your exchange has been approved, you will receive a shipping label to mail your order back to us. We are here to help in any way we can to make you feel confident about your purchase. If you are unsure of whether the color or texture of a pillow will work in your space, you may request a swatch of the fabric. if you're unsure about size, see our size guides, or email us for a personalized recommendation.

We reserve the right to update this return policy at any time.

 

CANCELLATIONS.

Cancellations can be made within 24 hours from the order date without incurring a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is 20% (percent) of the product total. This policy is in place because all of our pillows are custom cut and made for each customer. If you cancel, we may have already used our supplies and resources to start work on your specific order. No cancellations can be made once order has shipped. If you are unsure about a fabric, ordering a swatch is encouraged.

Each STUD Pillow is hand embellished with premium materials in our Atlanta studio. Our pillows are special, so please treat your pieces delicately. We encourage our customers to be conscientious and cautious as some of our pillows contain sharp embellishments. We do NOT recommend placing you embellished pillow (spiked, pearl, or draped chain) in the vicinity of babies and children.

If your item requires repair or arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to handle reasonable repairs for the first 2 weeks of ownership not incurring a repair fee. All items submitted for repair must be accompanied by the order confirmation # or an original sales receipt. Please contact us first via email to receive instructions on how to mail your repair to us. Stud Pillows reserves the right to deny unreasonable repair request. 

Any repairs after that 2 weeks are subject to a reasonable repair fee (including shipping). We ask that you email us photos of the pillows condition and what needs to be repaired. We will then provide you with a repair quote. Upon acceptance and payment of the repair fee, we will provide you with a shipping label to mail in your pillow for repair.

NATURE OF HANDMADE PRODUCTS.

All of our products are handmade. Due to the nature of our production method, each product may vary slightly. Please allow 1/4' to 1/2" variance allotted on finished measurements. Color variation from computer monitor to actual fabric is not an accepted reason for return. We do provide swatches, so please email us if you are unsure about a fabrics color.

 

DAMAGED ITEMS.

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. If an item arrives and is damaged, please contact us immediately so we can work with you to repair or replace the item. No damage claims will be accepted after 10 days of package arrival. It is important to keep in mind that some fabrics have certain natural characteristics and "flaws" that should not be considered as defects.
